Our Clinical Simulation programme is suitable for all clinical healthcare professionals: doctors, dentists and all allied health professionals with a clinical facing role where they are supervising students who learn through simulation. This course will satisfy all the requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate educators teaching on medical school or postgraduate programmes, or allied curricular where simulation is an integral part of the content. The course is delivered online, via an established distance learning platform. Please contact the Programme Director if you wish to explore this option: Healthcare professionals wishing to be in a position to provide supervision and instruction in either a hospital or GP practice setting will need to complete a relevant postgraduate qualification, in addition to their undergraduate degree, and this will increasingly be undertaken in their ‘training years’. Simulation is an expanding field where students may gain experience in a non-threatening environment without involving patients. Following the COVID-19 pandemic it is likely that more teaching will be undertaken in a simulated environment which can be more easily controlled.
