This 3-week program offers students the unique opportunity to explore biomedicine in the immersive research environment of Imperial College London’s renowned Faculty of Medicine. Participants will also gain hands-on laboratory experience. The Revolutions in Biomedicine Summer School course gives a unique insight into biomedicine in the immersive research environment of Imperial's world-renowned Faculty of Medicine. Revolutionise your summer with our three-week mini-research laboratory project with mini courses and guest lectures, enabling you to explore cutting-edge research, technology and the future of biomedicine.
Will I receive academic credits for attending this course? The course carries 7.5 ECTS credits (3-4 US), subject to your home institution approval. In order to gain academic credit, students must attend a minimum of 80% of the course, gain a combined score of at least 40% in the assessments (a lab project report with a presentation) and complete the portfolio assessment. Will I receive a certificate for attending this course? All students will receive a participation certificate upon successful completion of the course. In addition to this, prizes are awarded for a variety of academic and social reasons in the graduation ceremony which takes place on the final day of the Summer School. Scholarships Available On-campus scholarship: Open to all applicants. Non-Russell Group scholarships, Summer School scholarship: up to three Non-Russell Group scholarships and one Summer School Scholarship.
Provide evidence of passing an undergraduate Bioscience module (e.g. biology, anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, etc.) with a results transcript.
If you do not have this at the time of completing your application form, you must provide an academic reference from a tutor at your current institution instead.
