The best part of my uni experience has been meeting new people and building friendships with others on my course. Working together during lectures, group work, and placements has made me feel supported and part of a team. I’ve also really enjoyed the hands-on learning during placement — it’s helped me see how everything we learn in class connects to real patient care, and it’s made me more confident in myself as a future nurse.

My experience at Brunel University has been really positive overall. The university offers a great balance of academic challenge, practical learning, and personal support. The lecturers are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in students’ success. The campus is modern, clean, and well-equipped, with plenty of spaces to study, relax, and meet friends. One of the best things about Brunel is its focus on employability and professional growth. The placement and careers teams do a great job preparing students for real-world experience, and there are always opportunities to get involved in workshops, volunteering, or part-time work. The diversity of the student community also makes the university a welcoming and inclusive place to study. If I could suggest one area for improvement, it would be clearer communication around administrative processes — for example, placement paperwork, training sessions, and vaccination appointments. Sometimes updates arrive late or not at all, which can cause confusion. A more reliable system would make the experience even better. Overall, Brunel is a fantastic place to study. I’ve grown academically and personally, met amazing people, and gained valuable skills for my future career. I’m proud to be part of Brunel University and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering higher education.

I really enjoy studying at Brunel - the lectures are very supportive and the atmosphere is great. It's a friendly place with lots of opportunities to learn and grow. The only thing i'd improve is the library computers, as they often dot work properly and the students around , and the noise on the first floor - many students use it to chat, which makes it hard to concentrate. I usually on the daily basis come to the library to read and enjoy some quiet time .

As a post graduate students what is a best aspect is the post grad areas in the library. That was something I thought to be very effective as it is less noisy compared to other floors in the library. Also having the IT support in the library helps. The worst aspect of uni I think might be the cost of the food. You don’t really get a discount.

As A mature student, university is daunting at the most, but Brunel does not have that overbearing feel which some other universities do. The lecturers actually really help you and go out of their way to do so. Brunel is a great place to study due to the support and genuine guidance which is truly appreciated. My only gripe would be the terribly cold rooms. but with a cup of hot tea and a few scarfs, this is easily overlooked as the lectures are really interesting
