This programme equips you with the expertise to create PR campaigns, effectively handle crises communications, and build organizational reputations in an ever-evolving media landscape. It is your pathway to success in PR and strategic communications in industry, government, charities, and the cultural sector.

The MA in Public Relations and Strategic Communications equips you with a range of communication skills to excel in this dynamic and growing field. You will learn how to use communication tools to influence attitudes and individuals and learn the ethical obligations that come with this knowledge. You will progress to mastering media relations, reputation management, and social media/community management. Electives like health or political communications allow you to customize your knowledge and you have a chance to test your skills in professional setting with a placement in the industry. Students on this course will have the opportunity to connect with industry in a structured way, through guest speakers, bespoke placements, field trips and networking events. Our staff have established strategic partnerships with London-based PR and Marketing Communication agencies, such as Fully Vested.
