Positive Review: I’ve really enjoyed my time at the University of Greenwich. The campus life is amazing — there’s always something going on, and it’s easy to meet new people and get involved. The location is honestly one of the best parts. Being in London with beautiful riverside views and historic buildings makes studying here feel special. The campus atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the facilities like the library and study areas are great for getting work done. Overall, it’s been a great experience so far. Area for Improvement: One thing that could make it even better is slightly smaller class sizes. If there were fewer students in each class, it would create a more comfortable learning environment and allow for more interaction with lecturers.

One of the best aspects of studying at the University of Greenwich has been the sense of community and the supportive environment created by both staff and students. The campus itself is a highlight the historic architecture and riverside location make it a genuinely inspiring place to study and there are plenty of spaces for both independent and group work. The lecturers are approachable and genuinely interested in helping students succeed often taking time outside of scheduled classes to offer guidance and feedback. I have also appreciated the range of extracurricular opportunities from societies to networking events which have helped me develop personally as well as academically. In terms of areas for improvement communication and organisation could sometimes be enhanced. There were occasions where deadlines, timetable changes or assessment guidelines were not communicated as clearly or as early as they could have been. Improving this would make the student experience more consistent and help reduce stress during busy periods. Additionally while there are strong support services available raising more awareness about how to access them could ensure more students benefit from the help on offer. Overall my experience has been positive and I feel that Greenwich is a place where students are encouraged to grow, explore new opportunities and feel part of a diverse and welcoming community. With a few improvements in communication and organisation it has the potential to be even better.

The best aspect, I would say, is the teaching quality here. If I don’t understand any topic, I can easily get help from my academic tutors or lecturers. As an international student, I was really nervous about studying in a new environment, but the lecturers and the people from the student union are so approachable that I never really felt left out. The only downside is that sometimes managing coursework and assignments can feel a bit overwhelming, especially during busy weeks. But overall, the support and resources the university provides make it much easier to handle.
