Find out why humans think, feel and act the way they do. The BA (Hons) Psychology involves the scientific interdisciplinary study of human behaviour, based on the assumption that brain activity underlies phenomena such as perception, cognition, emotions, personality, interpersonal relationships. The curriculum explores the biological, cognitive, and psychosocial areas of contemporary scientific psychology.By looking at conscious and unconscious phenomena, including feelings and thoughts, brain function, emotions, personality, and human development, psychology intersects the boundaries between the natural and social sciences.Psychology is both an academic discipline and an applied science it deals with everyday issues and attempts to understand and treat mental health problems. These valuable and transferable skills open up a wide array of career possibilities upon graduation.
