Our Psychology BSc will introduce you to the psychological sciences and help you to explore their application to a variety of contemporary challenges. The course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), who have highlighted areas of particular strength in our course, including the emphasis on research-led teaching, our modules for developing employability skills, and the wide range of discipline-specific opportunities, placements and internships that are available for students at the world-leading Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN).

- Our course offers a rich combination of research and clinical expertise. This is an innovative programme into which interactive learning opportunities have been integrated throughout all years of the programme.- Our teaching is delivered by world experts and enriched by current research at the IoPPN, one of the world’s leading centres for interdisciplinary research in psychiatry and psychology. We have unique partnerships with the South London & Maudsley Hospital (SLaM) and clinician-scientists that allow placements and voluntary work for our students.- The Department of Psychology is one of the best-known and largest centres for clinical and health psychology in the UK.- We have a robust personal tutoring system which has been commended by the BPS. Each student is allocated a personal tutor who supports them across their programme, providing pastoral support and practical skills training across several timetabled sessions each year.- King’s provides extensive Student Services available to support our students which ranges from supporting their wellbeing and mental health, to accommodation, financial and careers advice.
