The campus is beautiful and a lovely place to be. The downfall of the guild is being a separate organisation and doesn’t run like other student unions in the UK (I believe that the university actually owns the student guild which entirely defeats the purpose of it)

I feel like there is a lot of care given to the students in most cases. Wellbeing and diversity both seem to be high priorities, as events for both of these are constantly advertised. There is a lot of support available if you need it for mental health. The Students' Guild always runs lots of exciting events - if you're bored, all you need to do is check their FIXR page and there's always something cool on! The campus location is perfect and I absolutely love how it looks - walking around the fountains on campus is one of my favourite things to do in my spare time. Exeter is a great university to pick if you're like me and want some things to do, or if you want to try some new things like clubbing that you haven't tried before, but also don't want to be overwhelmed by choice or by your own senses like you would be in a place like London. It would be better if students were more listened to in regards to political disputes. There have been peaceful protests on campus, but some counter-protesters have taken pictures of students and doxxed them, and harassed them both physically and verbally. Not much has been done to remedy this by the university and this is my main issue at the moment. There are also some problems with accessibility, as there are still some areas where there are no (obvious) lifts and therefore they are impossible to get to for full-time wheelchair users and made more difficult for those with ambulatory disabilities.

I love Exeter; the staff, students, and students' guild all come together to ensure the university feels like one big community. They always reach out to students to find out how they can improve and put plans in place to make our university experience as positive as possible! The teaching is excellent, hands-on and well-delivered. The wellbeing services are outstanding, with no wait times, and they go above and beyond expectations to ensure their students feel safe and supported during their time at university. I always know where I can turn to for support and even when I'm struggling with coursework or deadlines, there is someone available to offer advice or find a way to help me get through it.

I have really enjoyed my univeristy experience. I have had some issues with managing the workload but have always been well supported around this. I have made great friends and been involved

The best parts of the University of Exeter are the location including the university campus, distance to the city centre and the local area in addition to the student support. The campus is located with easy access to the beach, nature and the city centre for shopping. The campus is beautiful and full of mindful green space. The university takes mental wellbeing, health and accessibility seriously. There are so many campaigns and educational resources for all students to understand theese things. the well-being and accessibility teams are inclusive, accessible and helpful for all students. We also have a useful individual learning plan system so all students can feel that their needs are being met including extra time, support for disabilities or anxiety and any other support the university can put in place to make education accessible to all of us.

Best aspects would be the amazing campus, and the interesting materials in lectures Worst aspect is wellbeing and student support, it’s hard to secure a wellbeing appointment and they have just stopped the night line services
