This programme is for you if you are an international student who has successfully completed 2 or 3 years of degree studies in psychology (to HND or associate degree level), and you wish to complete your degree studies in the UK. You will adjust to studying in the UK as you earn a full honours degree and develop the skills and knowledge needed to continue to further postgraduate study in English or English-medium work. The programme combines content-based studies with the development of English, academic skills, intercultural skills and independent research skills, as well as giving opportunities to study psychology alongside UK-based students. We also provide pre-sessional programmes for students whose English language level is below IELTS (equivalent) 5.5. On this programme you will: Develop the academic and communication skills you need to perform at postgraduate level in English or in a psychology role which needs English. Gain knowledge of and engage in the scientific study of human experience and behaviour and develop an in-depth understanding of key psychological principles and theories . Develop your personal and academic English language skills. Gain confidence and experience at functioning in English-medium academic and vocational environments. Learn to conduct independent research projects and to evaluate research in your field so that you are ready for postgraduate study in English. Benefit from quality teaching by skilled academics who are experts in their field with real professional experience. Improve your English skills with workshop-based interactive activities in small classes alongside other international and UK students. Be guaranteed admission to our postgraduate programmes if you achieve a 2:2 or above and be eligible for Chichester postgraduate programme bursaries if you achieve a 2:1 or above.
