I think its a very cute and cozy University, the support is really good but there aren't a lot of good social spaces or ways to make friends besides what events happened during freshers week. I think that sometimes I feel like my classes aren't challenging enough, I feel like I am taking highschool psychology classes again in my first year of Uni, and there aren't enough assignments to fall back on. But I do love this university, and I am thankful to be here, and I like that everything is compact and I think there is a lot of pretty places in Preston.

In my opinion, my uni has great facilities in place to help you study and have a life outside studying, the location is great, it's in the heart of Preston, there are a lot of supports ranging from the school, lecturers and student-led support groups. The campus looks great throughout the seasons; there are a lot of events organised by the school and students to help you have a student life, including the Student Union, which is led by students who are in the best position to hear and do what you want as students.

UCLan offers a vibrant academic environment, providing students with a plethora of resources and opportunities for personal and professional growth. The dedicated faculty members are not only experts in their fields but also deeply committed to student success, fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration. The campus facilities are modern and well-maintained, creating an ideal setting for learning and extracurricular activities. However, there are areas where UCLan could further enhance the overall student experience. Firstly, while the academic programs are comprehensive, there is room for more interdisciplinary collaboration to better prepare students for the complexities of the modern workforce. Additionally, expanding support services for mental health and well-being would contribute to a more holistic approach to student development. Lastly, increasing diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure that all students feel represented and supported within the university community would greatly enrich the overall campus culture. Overall, UCLan stands as a reputable institution with strong academic offerings and a supportive community. With continued efforts towards improvement, it has the potential to further excel in shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.

Uclan really is a great place to study with outstanding student support from lecturers. I have found my experience so far to have filled me with no doubt about my choice to study at Uclan. I feel seen and heard by all my lecturers and they make a conscious effort to ensure that all students are aware of where and how to get help if needed. My only criticism of Uclan would be that as gorgeous as the student union and engineering buildings are, there are a couple of buildings that are well overdue an upgrade. My main example of this would be the Livesey building in which I have most of my lectures in.
