On our Psychology and Sociology degree course you will engage with psychological theory and research, exploring how this knowledge is applied to real-world personal and social issues.The course enables you to explore the personal and social nature of human experience from different perspectives.You’ll benefit from learning with research-active lecturers and hearing from inspiring guest speakers, with an opportunity to take an optional placement in a community organisation. Our Psychology Research Laboratories are resourced to support a diverse range of experimental and qualitative research.This degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Graduates who achieve the required standard are eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the BPS. This is the first step in becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
