In every business, and in every industry, effective project management is essential. Project managers plan and organise resources and people to ensure projects finish on time, within budget and meet the requirements of the business. This MSc prepares you for a rewarding career in project management. This course is accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM). Accreditation is designed to help students and professionals choose the best academic education in support of their professional project management career. Students are entitled to free membership of APM. A key feature of the Project Management programme is that it cuts across all disciplines and graduates are not restricted to one industry sector. Students deep dive into topics in project and programme management throughout the course and can choose contemporary modules such as AI in Project Management, preparing them to undertake project management roles in any sector.
Applicants should normally possess an Honours bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification. Applications will also be considered from those holding an Ordinary bachelors degree, or an equivalent qualification, along with relevant industrial experience. Applicants without either qualification may be considered if they have extensive relevant industrial experience at a managerial level. Students who have previously completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Project Management may be admitted to the MSc at the appropriate stage.
