About the course

The Doctorate in Medicine has been designed to enable clinicians working in practice who wish to undertake a substantial programme of individual research, while under the principal supervision of a clinical specialist. You'll benefit from a flexible programme and the opportunity for you to contribute to the final award using previous research.

The duration of the course is up to four years on a part-time basis.

During your studies, you'll have the opportunity to study a wide range of subject areas relevant to your own clinical practice and these may be clinically based.
