The course gives you the opportunity to explore the disciplines of Ceramics and Glass, Jewellery and Product Design. The course allows you to develop a wide range of Three Dimensional Design skills, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of professional design practice.Project briefs focus on technologies, materials and processes to turn concepts into realities. Ideas are at the heart of what we do, and learning to develop ideas through a clear design process, through digital and physical prototyping and real world production methods is how students learn to affect change through design.The course is uniquely equipped to develop highly employable graduates with the skills necessary to operate in this changing and increasingly demanding working environment, from the individual designer-maker, freelance product designer or team member in multidisciplinary consultancies.Year 1 completed via BA (Hons) Foundation in Art and Design - UCAS Code WW12
