Learn to teach students aged five to 11 on our Primary PGCE. You will train through professional experience and reflective practice. Our primary teacher training course reflects all elements of the Department for Education's (DfE) Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework (ITTECF). 'Outstanding' teacher training We are a top teacher training provider and are rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted. We are highly thought of in the local area and 98% of our students are employed or in further study within six months of graduating. Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) You will gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). QTS is required to teach in all state-maintained schools in England. Your PGCE also qualifies you to teach abroad. Master’s credits You will complete two master’s modules, which will enable you to gain 60 credits at master’s level.
Applicants should have (or be working towards) a Bachelors degree, preferably with a 2:2 or above. You will need to have two out of the three GCSEs specified below in place at application.
