Introduction

This course is designed for radiographers wishing to expand their scope of practice and develop the theoretical and clinical knowledge base required to interpret chest and abdomen radiographs and construct clear and concise medical image reports in line with local protocols.

During the course you will learn the theoretical principles of interpretation of chest and abdomen radiographs which alongside work-based learning in your department, will develop your competencies to provide clinical reports of chest and abdomen radiographs.

Successful completion of the course will also help evidence your role as an advanced clinical practitioner in relation to Health Education England’s framework for Advanced Clinical Practice (2017). This course has been approved by the College of Radiographers.
