University of Brighton

University of Brighton is a lovely place to study, all the lectures and staff are all helpful and great for support. No matter what the issue is there is someone that can help you out. I find my course very interesting and I’m getting on very well. Even though I didn’t originally get the grades one phone call and I was accepted in due to the conditions. They always take in account reasons as to why people are struggling, not just focusing on the grades on paper. They take pride in making sure they’re fully inclusive no matter who you are, being welcoming for everyone. I’ve struggled to make friends at university but being in my course and put in group projects has helped me open up to my peers and I’ve gained some amazing friends. I’m accommodated at Varley park and I love the environment, my flat mates are all lovely and the best part is the Varley park cat, since I miss my cats at home Kingston the cat is the best. Brighton has made me a very independent person but in a way that I never feel alone, I know there is always someone I can reach out to if I’m feeling down or doubtful. That is why Brighton University is an amazing fit and a great place to study.

The Aldritch library and cockcroft as a whole feel like this amazing community of students, great place to study and socialise, there’s a bit of everything all within walking distance

The campus and city of Brighton is amazing, with brilliant transport links and great student support networks. In terms of improvement, a more vocal and political student union would be ideal.

Best: the course content is absolutely fantastic as it covers a wide range of issues while still remaining engaging. Worst: the Student Union does not adequately support students.

Best: Overall experience, location, social life, support Worst: Student Union due to negative interaction with the society of which i am a member
