You’ll focus on the applications of nuclear physics from energy supply and medicine to propulsion systems and reactor design – all alongside building your core physics knowledge.Getting hands-on and applying your knowledge goes hand in hand with boosting your technical skills and confidence. You’ll get to conduct experiments in our dedicated ionising radiation laboratory, lead a year-long project in your final year, apply for a year in the industry and will have the opportunity to volunteer in our research labs.Our expert staff are constantly updating how they teach Physics. Most of our staff conduct cutting-edge research and bring these inspirational results into their teaching. This ensures that what you learn is exciting, relevant and up-to-date.
