Learn about the complex interactions between philosophical, political and economic thought and how they influence our society on this wide-ranging BA degree programme. You will study moral and political philosophy, ethics, justice and society, British politics and public policy, political economy, globalisation, micro- and macro-economics, econometrics, and environmental and resource economics. Throughout your studies, you will develop excellent research and analytical skills and learn to present your ideas effectively both verbally and in writing. Our degree structure, with an extensive range of final year optional modules, gives you plenty of scope to tailor your studies to your particular interests, career goals, or ambitions for postgraduate study. You have the option of spending a semester abroad, broadening your skills and experience at one of our partner universities. A degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics opens the door to a wide range of exciting careers in sectors including: government and politics, humanitarian organisations, business, media and public relations, law and public services.
