The Data Science minor explores the techniques underpinning artificial intelligence including coding in Python, machine learning, and natural language processing, as well as theoretical and practical issues surrounding AI and data ethics. The Psychology minor surveys fundamental principles, concepts, experiments, and issues in the major areas of contemporary scientific psychology. Together, these elements provide a very broad and deep foundation in the study of naturally and artificially intelligent systems, and teach the skills required for life and work in the 21st century.**Where can this degree take you?**Graduates of the Philosophy & Cognitive Science BA (Hons) will have a wide range of employable skills that can be applied in a diverse variety of occupations. They may find work in the tech sector in areas such as digital humanities, computational social science, or data journalism. They may progress into the public sector, helping to provide regulatory oversight of artificial intelligence applications. They may progress to a one-year conversion programme and then become a practicing clinical psychologist. Our typical offer for applicants who are studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma is: "An overall score of 35 points OR 6, 6, 5 in subjects taken at Higher Level." -Please note, the overall score of 35 points includes TOK and the Extended Essay, and students must achieve a pass in the IB Diploma for entry to our courses.

New College of the Humanities (NCH) is a university-level institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in humanities and social sciences. NCH is headquartered at Devon House, in central London’s St Katharine Docks. This new location boasts state-of-the-art facilities combined with unrivalled views of the River Thames and Tower Bridge.
