Course overview In this course you develop solutions to problems facing global industries and improve quality of life for all. This PhD course combines the expertise of several scientific disciplines to support novel research in formulation engineering. Gain personal, scientific and business skills as you carry out this joint industry-academia research programme. On completion of your research, you will be ready to take charge of development teams in the most competitive markets. Course highlights Combine the expertise of four academic disciplines - Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics and Chemistry - for a unique research project in formulation. You'll examine the physical, chemical and biological processes that create product structure. Your work will centre on achieving the desired performance of the product and the means to achieve this. This approach places new demands on interdisciplinarity and innovation. You'll develop a framework of understanding for the design, manufacture and performance assessment of formulated products. During your research you'll make useful industry connection as you build skills to make you suited to a successful career inside and outside of academia.
You will need to have an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering, Biological or Physical Sciences, or Mathematics.
