Campus location is very good, lots to do around the uni, some buildings a bit 1960s monstrosities but overall a great uni

It’s right in the city centre. You are so close to everything you could possibly need. There are so many places on campus to sit and study, grab lunch, have a coffee and then at night the Union always has fun events on and you have somewhere to go for a drink too. If not the union then you are literally 5 minutes from George Square. This is something I never truly appreciated until I moved here. I haven’t really had anything I could call a bad experience here. Everyone is so friendly, students and staff alike. You will never be alone or left struggling.

The online delivery affected this year experience quite badly, especially at the beginning. We were told we would have switched to a mixed delivery many times but this never happened and created a lot of confusion on what we were expected to do. However, when in second semester became clear this wouldn’t have happened my experience improved a lot. Lecturers and tutors got used to the online delivery, as we did, and it became easier to understand the requirements and the assignments.

My course is challenging, but also very interesting so I'm very motivated to try my hardest. I'm also part of a sports team which has helped a lot with the social aspect, helping to create a very enjoyable experience!

University has been great! First year was probably one of the most memorable years of my life, and it's all down to the amazing people you meet, especially in Scotland (everyone is so friendly). It is tough, and a lot of self motivation is needed, but it definitely pays off.
