Peninsula Medical School (PMS) sits within the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. By studying for an MPhil, ResM, or PhD degree at PMS, you will be joining a dynamic research community of students, academics and staff that are doing their bit to tackle some of the greatest problems impacting science and society. The first step in the application process is for you to tell us about your area of interest so that we can help you identify potential main supervisor(s). You can identify potential research areas of interest by browsing our school’s research groups. Once we have recommended a potential supervisor, your application can be sent to them for consideration.
Overseas applicants must submit their application 4.5 months prior to the proposed programme start date. For Home applicants the deadline is 2.5 months prior to the proposed programme start date. There are three possible start dates per year, 1 October, 1 January and 1 April.
You'll usually need a 2:1 degree from a UK University or equivalent.
