A major focus of this research theme is in understanding social and cognitive development. The development of languageSensory processing and executive functions in infancy and childhoodFactors that underlie well-being throughout development, especially during adolescence, and the impact of adverse life experiences during development.In addition to addressing these issues in typical development, this cluster focuses on how development is impacted in children who are Deaf, or who have neurodevelopmental conditions such as Conduct Disorder, Autism Spectrum Conditions and ADHD.
A good first degree in a psychology or a related discipline. A Masters degree is beneficial but not always required and A strong research proposal and academic references.
