We explore emerging issues in the infrastructure and systems performance for the next generation of distributed/Internet computing. Our research is focused on large-scale systems spanning communities, organisations, industries, and nations, bringing together computational power, big data, and human knowledge. Through this diversity, we play a leading role in designing the next generation of systems and tools for: Evaluating the performance of cloud services, Flexible software abstractions, Heterogeneous hardware platforms, Massive-scale simulation, Virtual systems engineering, Data centre scheduling and analysis.
For most postgraduate research programs, a first-class or good upper second-class undergraduate degree (or equivalent) is often expected. Additionally, candidates may need to hold a Master's degree or an equivalent professional qualification.
