If you have a good first degree in computer science, electronic engineering, physics, maths, biology or neuroscience we have a range of interesting computer science research degree projects at: MSc by Research level (one year full time, two years part time). PhD level (three years full time, six years part time). You can choose from a range of set computer science research topics or suggest your own area of research. Please discuss your chosen research topic with a member of our academic staff before submitting an application and list this member of staff on your application. Computer Science saw 90% of its research ranked as world-leading (Research Excellence Framework, 2021).
