The whole university has such an amazing communal feeling. The events hosted by the SU are great. All lecturers are intelligent, supportive, and clearly enjoy teaching which is a huge benefactor. I have been president of a society this year and the only issue with the SU is the lack of financial support for the societies. The staff are extremely helpful but the societies need more money. My course is absolutely amazing. However, funding has been cut for music and other humanities. In my first two years we had an amazing number of specialist lecturers who were all just out of a PhD but now we have none. Music at Plymouth could be a great success due to the local music community, facilities such as the recording studio in RLB, and the enthusiasm of the permanent lecturers and staff. The course deserves more funding! The university as a whole is an incredible institution that has provided me with many opportunities and a great deal of support. All of the events that the university prove are great fun and the staff are incredibly friendly. The library is also very good as they have listened to student feedback and added in more booths and provided more space for 24 hour access.

It is a great place to study because: 1. The resources are plenty and useful 2. The professors are approachable and helpful. 3. There are many support services. 4. Quality of education I have had a good experience at the university so I can't think of anything that can be improved for now.

The location being near the sea is amazing as well as student life. Being on campus is always great with everyone being friendly and nice buildings available The students union could be slightly better looking but however is still a nice place to go!

The support from student services I have received has been very good. Though, the mental health wellbeing team not so much. The quality of teaching could be improved though.

I'm really enjoying my time at uni so far, it is overall even better than I expected! There's always something to do and new people to meet! I would recommend Plymouth to anyone who wants somewhere a bit smaller but still with all the fun of a city uni.
