The best aspect of my university experience was undeniably the vibrant and diverse community that fostered a sense of belonging and provided numerous opportunities for personal and academic growth. The campus buzzed with energy, enriched by students from various cultural, academic, and social backgrounds. This diversity not only broadened my perspectives but also facilitated meaningful connections and friendships that will last a lifetime. Furthermore, the university offered an array of extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations catering to diverse interests, from sports and arts to entrepreneurship and social activism. Engaging in these activities outside of the classroom not only complemented my academic pursuits but also allowed me to develop valuable leadership, teamwork, and time management skills. However, despite these enriching experiences, one of the worst aspects of my university experience was the inadequacy of mental health support services. Many students, myself included, struggled with stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues, yet the university's counseling services were often overwhelmed and under-resourced. Long wait times for appointments and limited availability of therapists made it challenging for students to access the support they desperately needed. To improve the university experience, investing more resources in mental health services is crucial. This could involve hiring additional counselors, expanding outreach and awareness campaigns, and implementing proactive measures to promote student well-being. By prioritizing mental health support, the university can ensure that all students have the resources and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Lots of areas to study, very clean and tidy campus, inclusive of religious beliefs e.g prayer rooms and university mosque

Location is very helpful but more map locations might be helpful for initial orientation. I found it difficult to find the buildings at first.

The location of the university is very convenient with good transport links to accommodation and into the city. The lecturers are passionate about what they teach and offer loads of resources and time to help. Due to COVID-19 a lot of learning is still being done online so they could improve on moving more lectures to in person.
