The best thing about the university and the city, and it's a shame I can't rate based on it, is how nice everyone is. It's a city full of polite, kind people, and that especially goes for the university. I can honestly say I have not had a single bad experience with any member of staff, but plenty of good ones. From the lecturers (who are incredibly helpful and some of the most encouraging teachers I've had in my life) to casual staff who I've had multiple lovely chats with, there's not a single blip on the record. They are good at what they do and they do it to the best of their ability. The buildings aren't that nice, that's true, they're serviceable but they show their age. Perhaps the weather is a tad cold and rainy (then again, it's the UK, where isn't?). The uni obviously doesn't have the prestigious and brilliantly intellectual reputation of places like Oxford. But I wouldn't trade it for anything, because beyond everything else this is a city and university that is supportive and kind towards everyone.

Overall it's a great place to study, I love the student union support and I feel they should be flexible with some rules

The facilities are suitable for my course and the lecturers are very supportive and friendly. I also met new friends My worst uni experience was during the raining periodds. The rains will come sometimes with heavy winds.

So far with my 11 weeks here, I can say with full honesty that Swansea is a fantastic place to study, I'll give a more in-depth review in my 2nd year once I have a full taster of everything a year of Swansea has to offer.

Swansea University and its' campus (Singleton) are in an amazing location. The course is well structured and the social life is anazing for students. Singleton campus in specific, its a bit old so I believe this could be removated such as Bay campus. Both campuses are near the beach and the views are amazing. Its a nice experience to be at this University!
