The Postgraduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing programme will extend your knowledge and skills within the Emergency and urgent care settings. This course was developed using the RCN National Curriculum and competency framework Emergency Nurses level 2, with local NHS Partners. This programme will give you the confidence and competence to provide care to a wide range of patients presenting to an Emergency or Urgent care setting. We have developed the programme by listening to the most junior to most senior members of the Emergency care teams and ensuring the course content and curriculum design reflects that. You will take part in a simulated major incident day annually.
All applicants must meet the following criteria: You must be registered with the NMC, Two years post registration experience in the emergency or urgent care setting, DBS will be part of the NHS.
