This full-time PGCE Young People and Adult Learning course is perfect if you have a degree and would like to teach a specialist vocational subject area in the post-14 sector. You will have a passion for education and your specialist subject in particular, and will want to inspire young people and adults to enjoy learning about the subject.
You will undertake a placement of 100 hours to develop your teaching practice in an education setting. As this course is full-time, it is intensive in nature and is intended for those who wish to study on a full-time basis.
Once you complete this course you will be eligible to apply for QTLS, which is as highly regarded as QTS by employers.

You must hold an Honours Degree in an appropriate area to undertake this course and be able to work academically at Level 6. Access to a placement setting to undertake at least 100 hours of teaching practice. The College can offer support with placements.
