Entry requirements

Applicants should have at least a 2:1 honours degree, or a 2:2 honours degree plus evidence of wider experience in a UK school or foundation setting relevant to Primary education. GCSEs: GCSE English Language, Maths and a Science at Grade 4 (Grade C for those sitting their GCSE before 2017) or above, or an equivalent award including some equivalency tests, are required prior to the course start (Evidence should usually be provided by 1 September). Functional Skills and the Certificate in Adult Numeracy/Literacy are not accepted in place of GCSEs.
