It is a fully online course that allows you to gain a PGCE (non QTS) whilst maintaining employment and gaining valuable experience.The course consists of two compulsory modules and a choice of 3 optional modules giving you the chance to explore educational priorities that are important to you. All of the modules will promote independent thought and critical thinking enabling you to develop an analytical approach to teaching and learning.Successful completion of the course will give you 60 credits at Master’s Level and could lead to further Master’s study.This course is perfect for people who are currently working in an educational setting or who aspire to in the future. It would be suitable for individuals completing an alternative route into teaching and gaining qualified teacher status, such as the Assessment Only or SCITT route.
