This online MSc offers you the flexibility to study for between one and five years according to your individual needs without needing to attend UCL in person. You will be taught by a faculty of experts in this rapidly growing field to give you a specialist skill set. This programme is ideally suited to a wide range of healthcare professionals who care for surgical patients, including anaesthetists, surgeons, geriatricians and physicians. Perioperative medicine is a rapidly evolving field committed to providing best-evidence care to surgical patients to improve their outcomes and experience. Our course is designed around an exciting international syllabus equipping healthcare workers with the advanced knowledge and understanding required for the management of patients, contemplating, undergoing and recovering from surgery. Applicants wishing to enrol on the PG Cert pathway must complete it within the first two years of enrolling on the programme.;

Optional qualifications

This degree is also available as a PG Diploma and a PG Certificate with fees set accordingly.

A minimum of a second-class UK Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science or nursing or a medical degree, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
