If you want to work as a dental hygienist and therapist, then this is the degree for you. As a dental hygienist and therapist, you will help patients avoid and manage oral disease by promoting good oral health and providing treatments.
Including Biology and excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A levels, we require a pass in the practical element.
To include Biology. Mathematics and English Language required at National 5, minimum grade B (or grade 2 Standard Grade or Intermediate 2 equivalent) if not offered at Higher Grade. Scottish qualifications can be taken in more than one sitting.
To include at least 15 level 3 credits in biological sciences. (In the case of former Higher Education Foundation Courses, all modules must have been achieved at Distinction and include Human Biology.)
