Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels. Must include grade B in Chemistry and Biology.NOTE: If you are taking linear A levels in England, you will be required to pass the practical endorsement in all science subjects. This is with the exception of private candidates who are unable to take the practical component.

Must be a combination of three Scottish Highers and two Scottish Advanced Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject.

Access to Science (or similar subject) with 45 Level 3 credits: 30 must be from units awarded at Distinction (including 15 credits in Chemistry and 15 credits in Biology), with the remaining Level 3 credits at Merit. A total of 60 credits is required.

Please note that Global Perspectives is not accepted by King’s as one of your Pre-U Principal subjects. Must include M2 in a Principal subject in Chemistry and Biology.Combinations of Pre-U principal subjects and other qualifications (such as A-levels) will be considered.

33 points overall or an aggregate score of 16 from three Higher Levels. Must include grade 5 in Higher Level Biology. Notes: The total point score of 33 includes TOK/EE.

Must include at least H2 in both Chemistry and Biology.
