Nutrition MSc at King's gives you the chance to study with some of the country's top specialists in areas like diet and cardiovascular health, gut health and metal metabolism. Join us to develop your research skills and advance your scientific knowledge to postgraduate level. With lab sessions and a supervised research project as part of your course, you'll have the freedom to explore your ideas. Then you can apply to join the register of nutritionists as soon as you graduate. With the public becoming more aware of the links between diet and health, there are new job options opening up all the time. Our course will instruct you in the principles of nutrition, public health nutrition, clinical nutrition and nutrition research skills. The MSc is an intensive course which we have designed with the needs of graduates in biological sciences or medicine in mind. The course is accredited by The Association for Nutrition, which means graduates may register as associate nutritionists on the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists, a body which aims to regulate the professional practice of nutrition.
A minimum 2:1 undergraduate Bachelors (honours) degree. If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).
