University of Aberdeen

Studying at the University of Aberdeen is an overall great experience for me. The University offers an incredible student experience. The teaching quality is excellent, with professors who are not only experts in their fields and doing research in their fields but genuinely are friendly, supportive and approachable. As an international student, I immediately felt welcomed by the diverse and multicultural community of students and the city. The support doesn't stop in the lecture hall- as there are also so many events and opportunities to develop new skills outside of the degree. Although the bus service for students is good but the distance between the two campuses, sometimes feel inconvenient for some students. Also, while there is plenty of help available for new students, especially internationals, navigating it all at the start is overwhelming. A single and simple online portal having all the essential information for students in one place would definitely make starting months so much easier.

For me studying at the University of Aberdeen is a great experiance as the university campus has ancient as well as advanced and modern architectural designs and has great facilities for students, research and for academic and non-academic support. The student support and advice is really great and helping students to grow and learn better. In terms of location, the campus is spread in two different locations is great but sometimes a bit challenging for new students. There is lot of opportunities to explore in academic and non-academic which is really great and a single portal where all the information can be found is really helpful.

The best part of university is you will have plenty of opportunities and events , friendly support of staff , good service , positive environment . However, when it comes to worst part is we are not getting an opportunity to meet or talk with our seniors as it helps the present graduates to seek guidance in their respective courses. So, it would be better to innovate something very essential that helps present students to interact with the senior graduates or passed out graduates.

As a remote student I feel widely supported by the university. Responses to my questions or any course issues are quickly answered and rectified.
