Yaa Salford is such a great university to do education in any field.I am very grateful because i am a student of salford university.

This is an amazing place to study, support is out of this world!!! the student life is incredible, the uni bar is well priced and has many incredible activities during the week. I have never felt so supported with my education. the uni also offers great mental health support and ample living situations.

Honestly, one of the best things about studying Adult Nursing at Salford is how practical everything feels. It’s not just sitting in lectures all day — you actually get hands-on skills and placements that make you feel like you’re preparing for real NHS work, not just exams. As an international student coming from Pakistan, I also found the diversity really comforting. You meet people from everywhere, and lecturers are generally supportive if you’re still adjusting to UK academic life or clinical expectations. Another big plus is the campus vibe. It’s close to Manchester city centre but still feels calm enough to focus. The simulation labs are proper good as well — you get to practise scenarios that boost your confidence before going into placements. But yeah, it’s not perfect. Timetables can be a bit messy sometimes, and placement travel can get expensive if you don’t live nearby. I also think more academic support tailored specifically for international nursing students would help, especially around medical terminology and assignment writing styles in the UK. Overall though, if you’re ready to work hard and adapt, it’s a solid place to study nursing. You just have to stay organised, ask for help early, and build a good circle around you.

It’s a great university however the main app: blackboard can be a little bit tricky to use specially because Mental health and CYP nurses are in the same one as us so i get notifications for that and it’s confusing because it doesn’t show it clear what’s relevant for me and what’s not and it can get overwhelming. Besides that i love my course and the student life available!

Best experience: I get to study in another country outside my home country. And my!, Salford is so fine and big, very neat and organized, very friendly people and supportive No worst experience so far!
