This BSc Mental Health Nursing degree focuses on service users and carers as an integral part of its delivery, which ensures person-centred recovery processes are addressed to help encourage your development. This mental health nursing degree aims to produce excellent nurses who are fit for practice and able to meet the key needs of all patient groups. You will experience an academic and professional training environment conceived and structured to help you gain the knowledge, understanding and skills to pursue and sustain a career in contemporary nursing practice.The approach centres around learning with service users and carers at the heart of the delivery of the course. The mental health field of practice modules are further informed by critical engagement with current mental health agendas and developments, ensuring you qualify with a robust mental health nursing degree. The programme consists of six practice learning experiences, ensuring that you maximise your learning opportunities. Practice learning will help with the acquisition of skills required to achieve competence within the adult nursing field of practice.
