You will also be able to work in settings supporting unwell children and clients experiencing mental health need. You'll study:the science that underpins nursingthe evidence base behind the nurse's rolehow nurses promote health and help people to maintain health and well-beingYou'll develop practice skills through a range of nursing placements, and your learning will be further supported through simulated practice and clinical skills teaching. Practice placements will normally be undertaken in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in a mixture of hospital and community settings across 6 trusts.
