The best aspect of my university experience is the teaching staff and the wider university team. The lecturers are supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed, and the student-facing staff are consistently kind, friendly, and approachable. There is a strong sense that everyone is willing to help, which makes the university a welcoming and encouraging place to study. An area for improvement would be the reliability of facilities, particularly the internet connection and printers, which have recently not been working consistently. Improving this would make studying on campus more efficient and less stressful.

Northampton prides itself on its well-developed nursing program, which offers all four pathways. However, its large collective cohorts can often cause logistical nightmares. The university needs to build more lecture halls to accommodate its growing population, not just for nursing students but for every subject, especially now that there is more support than ever to encourage people to attend university. They also have a growing population of mature students. If they had an on-site nursery, this would massively benefit its users, plus it would provide opportune on-site placements for relevant cohorts and, I assume, save the university money by making placements available.

I think it’s a great place to study, I think parking could definitely be improved. It’s hard to get a permit and even when you have one you have to pay every time your In university

Meeting people here was probably the best thing to ever happen to me. Worst experience is security being very strict but it’s understandable to nothing too bad

The university really pushes students to think about their future careers from day one. Social life is another highlight—there are plenty of societies, clubs, and events throughout the year. Whether you’re into sports, gaming, or cultural activities, there’s something for everyone. The Students’ Union also organizes fun nights out and trips, making it easy to make friends and enjoy university life. Overall, the University of Northampton provides a **friendly and inclusive environment** with great academic support and a focus on student success.
