Qualify as a graduate nurse on our new and innovative nursing degree. The course provides you with the experience and opportunities to become a graduate nurse of the future. You can choose whether to study on-campus in Gloucester, or pursue a blended learning option with an NHS ‘Practice Pod’ of your choice in a number of locations. Approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, this course offers a unique pathway that focuses on a different aspect of nursing each year. You’ll gain the confidence to lead and manage yourself as a practitioner (first year), the care you deliver (second year) and the service you work in (third year).Our nursing course is developed in collaboration with key healthcare partners, including Gloucestershire Care Services, Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group, and Healthwatch, this program offers a unique blend of academic excellence and practical experience.You’ll undertake placements in a variety of healthcare settings – including acute, primary, independent and private care. You’ll benefit from the support of Coaches in Practice while on placement, and the university uses a Collaborative Learning in Practice (CLiP) approach to support you in practice areas wherever possible.
