Really good facilities except not much seating area at young street. Most lunchtimes we are having to find floor space to sit and each lunch as it gets very busy. Especially when in the skills labs. otherwise we would usually stay in the classroom to eat. Not dived into the student life due to not living on campus. Nursing involves shift work for placement so unable to commit to clubs etc. I don't feel as if I can comment on students union either because of this. During induction someone from students union came to speak to us to ensure we knew what was on offer so that was great. Lots of information online too. Not had a chance to explore all facilities available. We are at young street all the time when not online so access to resources are limited. We then rely on online sources more. This limits the contact with people and can make it feel lonely rather than being able to access support at that time. Great location. Lots around and easy to get to with the park and ride or parking apps. Support has been amazing from university so far. Particularly the disability support team have been phenomenal in making student life as easier as possible. Lecturers have been willing to listen and help or point me in the right direction if needed.
