Enhance your practice at a global top 100 (QS World University Rankings 2024) university.

This master's is suitable for professionals working in neonatal units and will develop your neonatal expertise, as you learn to solve complex problems in neonatal care and to question neonatal policy and practice.

You'll engage with nationally renowned senior neonatal clinical specialists and researchers while studying bespoke neonatal clinical modules as part of a global online learning community. You'll graduate primed to take the next step in your career.

This course has been developed in collaboration with the European Paediatric Society for Research (ESPR). Modules you choose are developed and delivered by senior neonatal clinicians and academics across Europe, most of whom are senior members of the ESPR.

This course is taught entirely online, so you’ll learn together with peers working in neonatal units across the world.

At Southampton, assessments are designed to equip you with the skills you need for success in your career.

On this course, you'll be assessed through evaluation of your online activity, online examinations, strategy documents and business plans, clinical or practice guidelines, presentations to a Trust board or subcommittee, ‘conference’ posters and supporting papers, and a dissertation.
