Leeds Conservatoire has been at the forefront of music and performing arts education for over 50 years. It provides the specialist training of a conservatoire combined with the academic rigour and professional development of a university, aligning its curriculum with the needs of today’s dynamic music and performing arts industries. Students are equipped with the artistic vision and entrepreneurial spirit to succeed across a broad range of careers in the creative industries. Of the conservatoires in the UK, Leeds offers the most diverse portfolio of undergraduate degrees with specialist programmes including classical, jazz and popular music, as well as acting, actor musician, music business, music production and musical theatre. Teaching methods are highly personalised, with students taught either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
