Offering a balance of broad-based study and specialist training, this MMus Music master’s course is designed to meet your needs as you develop your skills in music and management, whether you wish to develop as a professional working in the industry, or as a thorough grounding in advanced creative and collaborative skills that can be transferred across a wide range of careers.

You will come away well-versed in the principles of music management, verbally and technically fluent, fully conversant with a broad range of issues of concern in your field, and able to present your ideas across a wide range of media.

This degree is also available via the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) mode of study where students with ongoing professional careers take modules over a four or five-year period.

Please note that the ‘Music and Management’ pathway title is for study purposes only and won’t be reflected in your degree title upon graduating. You will graduate with MMus Music.

2:2 UK Honours degree or equivalent. All applicants must provide an academic essay of 2,500 words on any musical topic. In addition to the academic essay ALL applicants must provide an academic essay or industry report for the Music and Management pathway.
