MSc Sustainable Aviation at Swansea University. Throughout our programme, you will master the intricacies of advanced propulsion and unravel the secrets of next-generation, net-zero aircraft technologies. You will study aerodynamics, airframe structures, flight dynamics and control, and dive into the fascinating world of composite materials. You will gain a rigorous, forward-looking education that will equip you with the advanced knowledge, critical awareness and practical insight needed to address one of the most urgent global challenges of our time, the transition to net-zero and environmentally responsible flight. MSc Sustainable Aviation at Swansea blends theory with hands-on learning. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the theory, design and operation of aeronautical vehicles, with a dedicated focus on sustainable propulsion, low-carbon manufacturing, and next-generation aircraft technologies. You will experience hands-on learning as you tackle real-world challenges through individual and group research projects and connect with industry giants. Our programme does not start and end with sustainable aviation. You will embrace the concepts of circular-economy and sustainable engineering, ensuring you are equipped to tackle the challenges of tomorrow from every angle and revolutionise aircraft construction.
Usually entry requirements for the MSc Sustainable Aviaiton course are a first or a second class honours degree in Engineering, or similar relevant science discipline. You will also need to have an overall mark of at least 55%. However, performance in key modules will also be considered.
