  • We’re just one of two universities which partner with the Football Medicine and Performance Association (FMPA) – this means a direct link to the football industry.

Future careers

Our Strength and Conditioning graduates work as self-employed coaches in a large variety of team-sports, combat sports, strength-based sports, and endurance sports. Many also work within clubs, teams, and organisations, and deliver Strength and Conditioning support to a large range of audiences such as school PE lessons, recreational, semi-professional and professional athletes, and special population groups. A large number of our graduates have secured careers, promotions or new business opportunities as a result of taking the MSc in Strength and Conditioning.

Applicants should hold a 2:2 degree or equivalent professional experience or learning in a related field such as sports science or strength and conditioning. Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme and if they have experience in the sports industry.
