The programme covers a wide range of strategic areas, from management, marketing, sales management, and entrepreneurship to finance management, leadership, human resources, and governance and policy.
We believe in learning by doing. Through the internship, field trips, and hands-on projects, you will apply theories and strategic data-analytics skills developed as part of your masters programme to identify, analyse, and proffer strategic and sustainable solutions to real-world challenges. We will provide you with networking opportunities and will connect you with professionals, alumni, and peers through our extensive tourism and hospitality networks. To make your education a personalised journey, we offer two optional modules for your individual project. Its a chance for you to immerse yourself in an industry, apply your knowledge and put theory into practice. It should also help you develop your professional skills and assist you in starting to make industry connections. Graduates with work experience are highly sought after by employers and often secure higher-level positions.The programme meets employer expectations by equipping students with essential hard and soft skills to excel in the workforce and advance into high-level management roles as global Tourism and Hospitality business leaders.
On this degree you will undertake, in your second year, a placement. The University will help as much as possible, before and during your placement, to ensure you make the most of this valuable experience but it is your responsibility to find - and secure - your placement. Greenwich Business School students have previously undertaken their placement with companies operating in a wide range of different sectors - retail and e-commerce, hospitality, media and advertising, events, and finance.
